Our client is a large international company that specialises in developing strategies to solve challenging business problems of their clients. Having offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and Auckland, they are currently looking for a Senior Consultant to start immediately in their Sydney office.
This role will involve planning and leading a range of client projects. A successful candidate will drive the development of sourcing and supply chain strategies and work with the clients to direct implementation activities to achieve the benefits identified.
Essential attributes required for the role
Education
- Degree Qualifications in Engineering, Business, Economics, Commerce, Law or Science
- MBA from a leading business school would be advantageous
Experience & Competence necessary
- At least 4 years consulting experience with solid experience in procurement
- Significant experience within or assisting blue-chip organisations
- Proven experience managing own projects and small project teams
- Solid functional knowledge in the areas of sourcing, procurement transformation, SRM and supply chain
- Excellent team skills with the ability to lead and/or take direction
- Demonstrated people management skills, including coaching of both junior employees and client staff
- Good facilitator and ability to develop a storyline for clients
